About Me
I love my veg plot! my husband and I moved to our present house three years ago and life has changed dramatically!
My husband always listens to Terry in the Rhondda while he's at work and often comes back to enlighten me... He enjoys his slot on the JV show so much that I bought him the book last year!!
Some of my happiest childhood memories have been outdoors ... right from helping dad pull veg from the right side of our front garden (which was dedicated to growing our own), picking peas when I shouldnt have and eating them behind the shed!!, playing with my cousins every saturday on nans front lawn (Which unlike the lawn at home, we were allowed to do what ever we liked) to helping dad water the flowers and veg each evening, right through to my first date with my husband by the river.
As an adult the great outdoors holds the same addictive lure and never ceases to amaze me how truly mind blowing nature is. Growing your own - whether it be fruit, flowers or food is totaly satisfying.
