How quickly an area can change
January 15th 2010 by maggi
I have always thought that I live in rather a quiet neck of the woods, rural, fairly isolated and since July when the lane was closed at our end, at the end of of a long lane. My friends on the site who came to the Garden Party will I am sure corroborate this.
Today I find to my horror that there many undesirables living in the area. Bank and Post Office robbers, maybe even mass murderers. How quickly things change. This evening I became aware that there are numerous dodgy characters living in the area - mostly it would seem in my house. How many cinimals can one house hide?
Many are in disguise. Ducks masquerading as geese (and vice versa), cows as sheep -you get the picture? This is a very worrying scenario. Many of the aminals have guns.
You will all be relieved to hear that the police are on the case and have apprehended these baddies and flung them into gaol. After suitable questioning of course. (Some of the questions were not PC with a slight racist/animalist tone)
I feel that I can sleep soundly tonight knowing that DCI Ben, Sergeant Libby and Constable Grandpa are on the case.

I hope you will as relieved as I was that was not to be flung into gaol because I hadn't been naughty. The minimum sentence appears to be 100 years even for such offences as 'picking Granni's favorite flowers' or impersonating a sheep.

Thank you Lesley. I think we are needing all emergency service personel we can muster. ![]()
School was closed yesterday and Sarah has gone to London today, hence the mid week sleepover. I'm sure more baddies and crinimals will be apprehended after school.
Thought I'd send the fire brigade in to help. Granny sounds like she might need rescuing!
4 more baddies were arrested this morning - before breakfast!
Strange goings-on indeed!
