About Me
Gardening is my way of relaxing, I love to just potter around in the garden and greenhouse after I come home from work, that's why I don't like winter a great deal.
All my plants are treated like babies and I can't bear to see anything thrown away, I'm a bit of a horder too, you should see my garage.
I am the treasurer for Little Eaton Allotment Association who are desperately seeking land in Little Eaton to use as allotments for the local community. After 10 years of trying we are still no nearer our goal, December 2008 saw some of our committee make a TV appearance on the local news ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/derbyshire/7789979.stm ) I'm the miserable looking one carrying the fork. Our Chairwoman has been on various radio shows and we have had articles in the local papers about our plight but we still have no land.
My interests are varied, I enjoy motorcycling (when the sun shines ), playing darts for the local pub team, clay pigeon shooting, motor and motorcycle sport and enjoy good food-all the better for home grown veg.
I also have a small collection of mainly home grown bonsai trees.
