Thank you for the comment. This sunflower was by SuttonsSeeds and it was called Giant Yellow, mind you the packet shows a single flower where as these ones have been double flowers. My first lot got eaten by slugs so decided to try again, and we started them off in the greenhouse where they got a good start.

What a fantasic Sunflower head!
What is the sunflower called - I'd love to try and grow one of these for next year.
