Terry's Podcast 3rd February 2010
Terry Walton and Richard Fishbourne welcome the new year in with their latest podcast. Join them once again on the Rhondha valley, where they brave the cold weather to discuss with us the latest occurrences.
Discover how some of the vegetables from the Terry's plot are used and cooked in an exclusive new feature called Anthea's Cooking Corner. Anthea introduces the new feature by cooking up Welsh Cawl, or Lamb Broth, ready for Terry and Richard when they return from down the valley.
Terry, Anthea and Richard also ask for your help. Terry was given a Chinese Marrow recently, and they would like to know how any of you would cook it. They ask for members of gardenersclick to supply a recipe using a Chinese Marrow, which out of those submitted, one will be randomly picked out of the hat, and cooked by Anthea.
To enter your recipes, please add these into the Hot House, and select Recipes as the category. Once submitted, copy the link from the page, and add this as a comment to this article.

Nice one Terry and Richie.
Have to say I love Anthea's recipe spot too. The only thing wrong with it is that I don't get the chance to get in on the knife and fork action!
Great cameraderie on the lottie. ![]()
Anthea's recipe adds a wonderful dimension to the podcast. Very entertaining and informative. Most of all it demonstrates why Terry has struggled against weather and pest to grow all that lovely fruit and veg. I hope it becomes a regular feature!
Thoroughly enjoyed the podcast
Antheas' recipe was great it adds to the programme. Could we have a vegetarian one please
Personally, I like the recipes after all it is the end result off all the hard work done on the lottie...................Geoff
maybe I'm being ungenerous and I don't want to offend Anthea - but if I wanted recipes I'd watch a cookery programme, or listen to one; can we please stick to gardening?
Terry,Anthea,Rich fantastic once again look forward to hearing you all next month.
Geoff, the podcasts are always a treat. And they're not fattening, addictive or ...... well, okay, maybe addictive! ![]()

Just listened to Terry's podcast for the first time, it was great really enjoyable, what have I been missing since I joined, I shall certainly listen to to them in future.
could smell that stew from here, make it that way myself .as for the chinese marrow
Fantastic. Loved the part where you and Richard met your fellow allotmenteers. Oh, and Anthea's lamb stew sounds just the job for a cold day. Any chance of posting the recipe? Many thanks.
A classic podcast. Loved the Welsh lamb and dumplings - wish I'd been sitting down with you to eat it at the end. Will be nipping down the bank to get some coinage bags for my sweet pea seeds. ![]()
Anthea's Cooking Corner, some good tasty (it sounds) Welsh (oops nearly put English instead of Welsh) food. Much fun listening, as I've come to expect and enjoy, the innuendos were numerous today too, v. funny. Don't have a receipe for Chinese marrow, but on the theme of inuendos you could always stuff it!!!
