Hi mickyp,

I'm afraid I have left it too late to plant my rhubarb!! I am a new allotment person and have bought just the one "root " , should I buy more and get them into the ground asap?

Many thanks Stingo

hello terbear, a good drop of manure underneath the rhubard, it will take a year or so before it starts to shoot away , but once it does hubby will love it .......

I am in the States, and found some 4" high rhubarb at my local home improvement store.  I bought two, because my husband loves it, but I have never grown it.  Any suggestions??  Thanks so much.

you certainly like your rhubarb, I only have room for two but they give me plenty to eat and make into pies and puddings.  Seeing your cold frame reminds me of my next building job.
