If you like looking at glossy, magazine style pictures of modern furniture in various parts of the world, you will enjoy this book. However, it doesn’t fit into the category of a garden book - despite it’s title. It is more of a patio furnishing design book, with a list of manufacturers in the index. It is a designer/stylist/photographer’s dream. There is even a photo of a four-poster "Honeymoon Daybed" photographed pool-side.
I found it a little irritating that, at first glance, there appeared to be a page of text related to the garden design, which turned out to be a few lines in English about the furniture. The rest of the page is taken up by translations into four other languages.
So if you are looking for an interesting book about various aspects of gardening, or designing a garden, don’t buy this book. It is not one that I would recommend.
